Gestational Trophoblastic Neoplasia: A Clinico-Epidemiological Profile In A Tertiary Care Hospital

Introduction: Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) is a group of interrelated lesions that results from abnormal proliferation placental cells. Early diagnosis and treatment GTN in successful outcomes with fertility preservation.This study was intended to stratify cases using WHO scoring system, diagnose manage as per protocol identify complications GTN.
 Methodology: This single center prospective observational conducted at Medical college Kolkata June 2017 December 2018. All the diagnosed fulfilling inclusion criteria were incorporated study, data collected history, clinical examination investigations. tabulated analyzed by standard statistical methods
 Results: In this primiparous are more prone have molar pregnancy commonest antecedent event (71.4% cases). 74.3% (26 out 35) patients developed disease within four months previous pregnancy. Anemia vaginal bleeding presenting symptoms >48.0% whereas hemoperitoneum,seizure, hemoptysis respiratory distress rare symptoms.In histopathology or serial estimation serum β-hcg. our 91.4% successfully treated methotrexate only three received EMACO.
